well personally i love the sound of pearl snares so for the price i find its a really good sound especially when its tightened a lot
plus slipknots uber cool to teh max
and the skins are evans g2 but i didnt have enough money after the kit to change them

well at least you're footing the pearl elim's, very nice pedals...

I was thinking about getting the Vinnie Paul snare and redoing the finish because I am not a big fan of the snake skin. The guy at St. Johns said he would order one in for me to try out. Great service there!

It is… he has a few kits but this is the best sounding so we bring it out when in the studio and for practice at home.
His other kit sit’s in cases ready to go to the next show with a full set of hardware packed. We just grab his pedals, cymbals and go to the show.

I’d hate to total it out but the shells are about 2K and at least that again in cymbals and hardware… likely more.
